My Role Model – A Dog?

A blog worth reading, Everyday Relevance by Scott Schwertly, mentions two types of dogs, one of which is my role model as a leader and as a parent. Here is the description of my role model the sheep dog:

He moves with confidence and can guide his sheep with a simple look.

His powerful glance says it all and he can move the sheep in any

direction he chooses with a few quick steps and powerful stares. He

does his job remarkably well.

  1. I own a sheepdog, and he works just as you describe. He’s calm and in control, and very even tempered. You’re right, it’s just how we should aim to be as a parent.
