The Caring for China Center has been around for about 5 years now, but until recently, it has been a labor of love on the part of one man who has funded most of the activities and provided most of the work. I am now helping him to get the word out about his dream and build the Caring for China Center into a institution that will have a positive impact on China and, through China, the whole world.
Xu Wenli started CCC to, among other things, spread the ideas of democracy, human rights, and freedom of the press across China. This would, of course, be great for China, but also has a huge impact on the rest of the world.
America is now very dependent on products coming out of China and at the same time is trying to access China as its next major market. Because of this relationship, America and Europe are taking it easy on China and allowing it to get away with atrocities in Dar-fur, Burma, and many other third world countries. America has for the last century been a defender of those who are too weak to defend themselves, but it is now in a position of being too weak to do much in many of these situations.
China is indirectly funding violence and genocide and is providing cover for nations like North Korea, which are killing their own people and threatening the world with nuclear attack. The odd thing about this is that they are doing all of this for a few fairly good reasons. In many cases they have the right goals, but the way they are trying to reach those goals is hurting themselves and others. There is a better way.
I have a great love for the people of China and wish them the best. My heart goes out even to the people who make up the government of China, but they are making a few very serious mistakes that are not only harming their own people and people around the world but are also endangering their chance of success in becoming a respected world power and even a profitable nation.
CCC’s goal is to educate the people of China, both inside and outside the government about a better way to achieve national security, national pride, self sufficiency, respect around the world, and protect a 5,000 year old legacy of being one of the greatest nations on earth.
This is a goal that is good for both China and the rest of the world. I will be talking in future posts about ways that you can help CCC with its mission. For today, I am just going to introduce you to a new website that I set up for them.
