How to Format Your Posts Like a Pro: Simple Powerful Results

I just discovered a real cool new plug-in. Guess it is the week for new plug-ins, huh?

The new plug-in is called, TinyMCE Advanced. With a name like that, I can just hear your excitement. :)

If you are like me, you probably skipped this one as you were digging through the thousands of available plug-ins. From the title and description, it really does not look like it should do much.

But, this one plug-in does just about everything!

I

bet I can even do one of those really cool initial caps! Well, the initial caps is not exactly easy, but it works and most other formating options are pretty easy. You can control font size, font family, and paragraph and style formating. You can insert tables, horizontal rules, non-breaking spaces, and smileys. You can even work with layers! This plug-in turns the editor in WordPress into a full wysiwyg editor.

Oh yeah, you can also re-arrange your menu. Using  a drag and drop interface you can add only the buttons you want and remove the editing features you do not need.
