Wow! Is it time for Sunday Snippets again? This has been a whirlwind week. I found a Chinese saying that describes my life right now quite well.
一日千秋 (yírìqiānqiū) = “one day, a thousand autumns” – implies rapid changes; one day equals a thousand years.
This week seems like a few seconds. Let’s take a quick look at what has happened this week. I honestly cannot remember. Oh yeah, I read an interesting story about the power of giving – How to Be Beautiful. Along the same lines I launched a new website for a non-profit this week. Read about it here.
I also talked about how all of this information that we are putting on the internets (wow that passed spellcheck?!?) is very temporary. It is the relationships these conversations build that is important. More on that some other day.
Just a thought: I know why people hate macs – they make you feel stupid for looking for an application to do something that is built into the OS. You think you have have have to get a separate application, because that is what you did in Windows. Also you can’t find any software for Macs because the OS already does everything.
