Visit Europe and Asia for free!

Tabetha and I like to travel. We have visited more than half the states, several provinces and even a little bit of Mexico. Before each trip we start pouring over maps, and websites, and ask lots of questions of anyone who has ever been near our destination.

As we are doing our research we see hundreds of photos of our destination, but still enjoy actually seeing these places in real life. While we are there we take hundreds of pictures so that we can share the experience with those who did not get to go. But, all of those pictures never seem to do a good enough job of telling the whole story. When we take pictures, we try to find interesting subjects, and ignore a bunch of boring stuff, but it is the boring stuff that makes the full scene come alive. All of the boring stuff put together is really quite interesting.

Someday technology will reach a point where we can visit any place in the world virtually and see what it looks like right now and even what it did look like in the past. For right now, tools like Google Earth do a pretty good job. Google just released a new version that lets you watch the sunrise over the Alps. It is still not the same as being there, but we are getting closer.

Go ahead. Eplore. Have Fun!
